In giornata, dopo Hasankeyf, visito Midyat. Turchi, curdi, siriani, vivono insieme, seguendo le rispettive differenti religioni.

A circa un’ora si trova Mardin. Questo e’ il monastero Deyrülzafaran, a pochi chilometri dal paese. Purtroppo quando arriviamo e’ chiuso:
